Resumen

Avian scavengers, such as vultures and condors, perform vital ecosystem services by rapidly consuming dead animals and removing infectious materials, thus reducing outbreak risk. However, the role of these scavengers in pathogen transmission dynamics is often overlooked in the One Health framework.
