This paper presents findings from the study Physical Education, Body Practices, and Adolescence: Relational Dynamics in School Contexts and Socio-Community Spaces across Various Social Sectors in the City of Córdoba (2022-2025). It provides an exploratory analysis of gender scripts and relationships that are constructed—and subverted—in various school settings within Physical Education classes in secondary schools. The study was conducted using a socio-anthropological approach within the framework of qualitative research. The theoretical orientations incorporated concepts from feminist and queer pedagogies, as well as Physical Education studies that integrate gender perspective and Comprehensive Sexual Education. When relating the obtained results to those emerging from the state-of-the-art approach, continuities are observed in the structuring of gender-segregated classes, but also shifts toward mixed formations in line with current regulations. The mixed nature of the classes does not, by itself, overcome inequalities, hierarchies, and stereotypical fixations: rather, it reveals complex narratives with various folds, reproductions, and disruptions of learned mandates and relationships. Comprehensive Sexual Education is the reference capable of supporting processes of change towards equality and rights.
