. The Fundación de Historia Natural Félix de Azara has a documentary collection in which photographs and files of various scholars who investigated Natural Sciences in Argentina are preserved. Recently, a series of documents, paper reprints and books that belonged to the couple Estela Yolanda Santilli y Osvaldo Alfredo Reig were integrated into the aforementioned documentary collection and constitute the main body of the “Fondo Reig-Santilli” thus established at Fundación Azara. In this article we provide information on the documents of the “Fondo ReigSantilli”, which give a glimpse of the academic journey of these scientists. Among the documents, a note book made by a young Reig betwen 1943 and 1946, as well as a correspondence sent between 1989 and 1991 stand out. The documents give an idea of the prolific carreer of these two notable Argentine scientists and provide relevant information on the economic, social and politic situation that Argentina was going through, especially referred to the obstacles to carry out research projects at a time science was not a preferential objective of the national government. Preserving, making visible, and guaranteeing access to this type of documentation is of great value to get to know the people involved, as well as to contextualize the way in which they forged their own careers. In this particular case, the documents reveal the collaborative network that Santilli and Reig established to pursue their academic goals.
