The main objective of this work is to present a new theoretical basis to describe the deposition process on electrode surfaces modified with impurities, which block adsorption sites on said surfaces. In the electrodeposition process, an electroactive species is adsorbed on available sites on the surface and transfers electrical charge. We present the energy level approximation by considering the binomial distribution and the standard Langmuir isotherm in the use of the integral equation. The adsorption isotherms and the compressibility of the adsorbed layer obtained by the theoretical approach were compared with those obtained by Monte Carlo (MC) simulation. This study was carried out for different energies of lateral interaction, to first neighbors, both attractive and repulsive, and for different degrees of occupation of the lattice by impurities.
