This work shows the results of the analysis of flaking debris, corresponding to the Parapeto 1, Parapeto 2 and Parapeto 3 sites of the archaelogical locality Laguna Azul, located in the Somuncurá plateau. The study of this artifacts was carried out through mass analysis, a methodology that facilitates the processing of large amounts of flaking debris. The results obtained allowed to compare the incidence of each raw material in the structures studied, and to generate inferences about their differential use as well. Parapeto 3 has the lowest amount of debris and the least fragmented set, which is possibly due to lower human activity, compared to Parapeto 1 and Parapeto 2. In Parapeto 3, in addition, the last stages of the operational production chain of lithic artifacts and/or their maintenance are represented in greater proportion, in comparison to the other analyzed assemblages.
