Addressing the field of teacher training policies from a sociological perspective gives the social researcher the possibility of progressing towards the methodological improvement that has characterized the theoretical development of the field of educational policies. It concerns the macro-micro division and the difficulties in establishing a link between the level of structural constraints and the level of practices and actors involved in policies. In this context, sociology enables the introduction of a mezzo level of inquiry in which the intermediate governmental bodies and the individuals involved in the implementation of the policies become indispensable for addressing the object of study. This is where the biographical-narrative research is shown as a complementary way to reach the interpretative analysis that will allow to understand the potentialities and tensions that the public policies of teacher training are assuming as they unfold in the territory. In this article, we present some preliminary findings of a research in which the characteristics assumed by the project Devel opment Poles are investigated based on the territorialized voices of the subjects that intervened in the different levels of concretion of said policy. From a sociological and narrative perspective, we approach the object of study here, not only from the analysis of official documents, but mainly from the voices of the actors, making visible the human faces of those who construct, resignify and translate public policies into contexts of practice.
