The aim of this article is to propose a model of representation of polysemic verbs in Spanish based on the verb “sacar”, which in Russian are translated with different equivalents. The main difficulty consists on the anisomorphism, that is, in the differences regarding the lexical organization of languages. In the case under study, this anisomorphism consist in a highly polysemic Spanish verb and a variety of partially equivalent Russian verbs, which, to be used correctly, require the knowledge of their peculiarities and restrictions. The aim of this study is to meet the needs of native Spanish speakers, who have to produce texts in Russian, on the basis of tenets of Lexicographic Bilingual Theory. The author of this article argues that an article aimed to the contrastive understanding of the polysemic meanings of a lexical unit may result in a better selection of equivalents in L2.
