The aim of this work is to provide freely available automatic evaluation tools of the spatio-temporal evolution of water and vegetation land covers in the Sauce Grande river. The methodology is based on satellite images and other remote sensing data sources, over which specific image processing and machine learning techniques were developed. To the best of our knowledge this is the first attempt to use automatic tools in high resolution images in the study area. The final data product has a spatial resolution of 1.5 m and is accessible online. Preliminary results indicate a decrease of 4.6 % in the water and 12.8% in the vegetation land covers during 2015-2017. Instead, the period 2017-2018 shows increases of 11.4 % in water and 12.8% in vegetation surfaces.
