In this paper presents the results of a study of teacher educators teaching in Physics and Chemistry, with the objective of identifying social representations (SR) on the teaching of science and infer possible influences o n the formation of the future teachers. We worked with teachers in the area of discipline and training in the area of teacher training. In this paper we analyze the results obtained from a technique on evocation and hierarchy, a Likert scale and a semant ic differential. The analysis of the results was detected differences in SR identified that suggest the need for teachers trainers from different areas work together and integrated, in order to promote teacher training and, therefore, help to overcome the difficulties in learning science.
