The aims of the present work were: to study the construct validity of the Spanish version of the Caprara, Steca, Zelli & Capanna´s Prosociality Scale (2005) in Argentine adolescents, by comparing three theoretical models, and to study the convergent validity, and levels of reliability of the Spanish version of the Prosociality Scale. The sample included 737 adolescents - 274 boys and 463 girls-, between 15 and 18 years old. The best ftted model was the 10 item- model with two dimensions: prosocial behavior, and empathy and emotional support. Cronbach´s alpha value relative to the whole scale was .78. Both dimensions positively correlated with the prosocial tendencies sensitive, anonymous and public.
