In this paper we analyze the speckle patterns formed by a double-aperture optical system stored in a photorefractive crystal BSO. The internal modulation of Speckles depends on the separation and orientation of opening. We emphasize that while generally the speckle has been studied by two-dimensional approach, the nature of volume must be considered in depth analysis. From the results, it is found that diffraction efficiency depends on the size of grains of speckle, the frequency of the fringes modulating the orientation of the stripes with respect to the external field applied to the photorefractive crystal and the magnitude of this field. It turns out that the results agree with those predicted by the theory of coupled beams for transmission geometry.
