The global urbanizationprocess observes forthe case of Argentina a sustainedgrowth of thecities, in particular of those of greater magnitude, oriented toward regional - metropolitan scale configurations. However, this urban growth does not necessarily translate into the development and / or streng thening of infrastructure or transport services that allow greater connectivity and integration in the territory guarante eing the right to mobility. Theresult, there are patterns that privilege private mobility over the publicone. While there are mobility studies from the government and academia, the low level of articulation between there searches makes it difficult to evaluate and elaborate critical analysis regarding the situation in which mobility is found in the metropolitan regions in the country. In this paper, it is expected to account for mobility in Argentine cities, from the information provided in the domiciliary surveys, trying to determine which are the practices and patterns that characterize it, if there are continuitiesordiscontinuitiesbetweenthem and whataspects are takenorshould be taken in planningforthefuture.
