In recent decades, the affective turn, instituted in response to the linguistic turn, has been the subject of certain observations regarding its inability to generate the reflexivi-ty demanded by feminist movements. In this article I aim to show how these criticisms –often pertinent– can be answered from the particular link that Donna Haraway estab-lishes between the ontological and epistemological dimensions in her presentation of the cyborg as an ironic myth. In order to analyze how to understand reflexivity in the framework of discussion opened by Haraway with the “Cyborg Manifesto”, I will deal with discussing the particular conception of the common displayed by Hebe Uhart in Animals and by Leticia Obeid in her short film Así hago yo, inspired by the ideas of the Argentine writer who is featured as the protagonist.
