This paper explores the potential of digital archaeology for the documentation, conservation, and communication of rock art, with a focus on the creation of three-dimensional models using Structure from Motion (SfM) photogrammetry. The study prioritizes archaeological sites with the highest tourist exposure within the Natural and Cultural Municipal Reserve of Barrancas, specifically Laguna Media – Piedra Mapa, Cueva del Caravanero, and Trono del Inca. The results demonstrate that the 3D models produced constitute high-fidelity records that are valuable both for archaeological analysis and for heritage valorization, as they enable digital visualization through online platforms and interactive devices. Furthermore, the integration of these products into the Barrancas Archaeological Interpretation Center is proposed, enhancing social engagement with heritage and improving accessibility for diverse audiences, including visitors with reduced mobility. In sum, the paper highlights the contribution of digital technologies to bridging research, conservation, and public communication, as well as their potential to generate positive impacts within the local community.
