Central hypothesis of the article is that teachers and members of the judiciary construct discriminatory social representations about external migrants, which involve the exercise of symbolic violence, of difficult visibility, playing daily in both spaces relations of domination and exclusion. We analyze the results of focus groups conducted for teachers in primary and secondary schools, public and private in the City of Buenos Aires and the Province of Buenos Aires and interviews with members of judiciary of the same geographical scope, in the framework of two projects UBACYT, led by Néstor Cohen and based at the Gino Germani Research Institute of the University of Buenos Aires. In order to structure the analysis of the results obtained, we define three axes transverse to the two fields analyzed: inferiority of the "other" migrant, "other" migrant as threat-enemy and the "other" migrant as invader. These are linked to each other and assume the effect of reinforcing the vulnerability of external migrants.
