This paper focuses on the study of the dynamics of the self-built city in its so- cial (symbolic and systems of actions) and spatial (systems of objects) dimen- sions that affect the production of habi- tat and the multiple territorialities that constitute the most inhabited poor nei- ghborhood in the capital of the provin- ce of Buenos Aires (Argentina), called Puente de Fierro. A system of comple- mentary objectives is proposed: the first refers to the object of study on habitat conditions, practices, and actions of its inhabitants, while the second refers to what we will call the object of transfor- mation in Participatory Scientific Agen- das and Permanent Working Groups.
