accurate estimation of the amount of light entering a building is the first step required for the assessment of visual capacity and energy efficiency provided by natural light. The objective of the proposed work is to study the climatic impact of different weather data (ARG_Mendoza CCT, ARG_MendozaMN6 and ARG_Mendoza AP) in the simulation of daylight factor with high precision. The methodology is divided in three stages: generation and collection of weather records (Mendoza), comparative analysis and its impact on predict ive calculation of indoor day lighting factor. The analysis reflected greater variation between simulations when direct sunlight incidence in the interior space was detected. In periods near to winter solstice and equinoxes, the average differences were be tween 3726lux-2750lux, respectively. The importance of considering these differences lies not only in predicting the minimum and maximum values, but also and mainly in the choice and design of solar control strategies.
