Throughout a diachronic case study we seek to analyze, in the rural area of Chos Malal, located in the center of the Argentine Republic, how the simultaneous processes of land sale and peasant settlement were territorialized and which were the conflicts produced in the last decades by the place’s appropriation. To reconstruct these tensions, from the critical eye of law and spatial justice, flexible qualitative research designs were combined from databased theory. In addition to successive field trips in the study area, we count with testimonies of peasants, public officials and territorial technicians, as well as cadastral, religious and physical cartography and various documents that enable the methodological triangulation.
