As part of the diversification of tourism modalities, visits to places of traumatic violence and even pain and suffering have recently been incorporated. Along these lines, sites are built that recreate that past or heritage spaces are used to incorporate them into the tourist offer. The best known case is associated with the mass visits to Auschwitz-Birkenau. In the case of our country, the violence experienced in the context of the last military dictatorship resonates with great force. Precisely, this article seeks to analyze the tourist practice in the facilities of the former CCDTyE Virrey Cevallos and its staging for a public eager for this type of experience. It is also intended to interpret what the practice is like inside this memory site, who visits it and what their subsequent feelings are. For this, the use of on and off line ethnography is foreseen, as a tool to interpret some digital resources (social networks, websites, etc.); observation and photographic tour of the heritage facilities and in-depth interviews.
