Laureano Huayquilaf composed a collection of poems in the heat of popular demonstrations against a policy allowing mega-mining in Chubut, in December 2021. The poems resist canonical forms of reading. Therefore, this work proposes a study through concepts such as “post-autonomous” and “out of oneself” literatures (Ludmer 2009; Kamenszain 2007), and “radical depersonalization” (Garramuño 2009). From the analysis, we observed an expanding poetic self whose lyricism goes towards a collective sensitivity that even aspires to transcend into what we could call “a sensitivity of the common”. There is an operation of radical depersonalization that leads the poet to merge with the activists and break up with the notion of the original artist. In this dialogue between the individual and the collective, the experience takes a vital importance contaminating the alleged asepsis that literature claims regarding reality based on the idea of autonomy.
