This work will share the first analyzes of data obtained within the framework of postdoctoral research on youth experiences regarding the only social employment program – called Empezar – aimed at same in the province of San Luis (Argentina). The management of this social program reveals regulations or devices – some already present in the design – that, when transferred to the experiences of the receiving youth, establish a “mixture”, or hybridity as has been suggested, between the social intervention of the State and the participation of the private economic sector, with the second prevailing – in many circumstances. Consequently, this article proposes to review three axes that demonstrate the hybrid management of social policy through Empezar: a) entry to the program; b) link with the trainers; c) contact with the administration. It will begin with previous notes that will allow us to understand the hybrid management proposal and, then, methodological aspects will be detailed. Next, the data and its first readings will be presented. Finally, final reflections will be offered that summarize the central ideas of the article and propose aspects for further research around these topics.
