This work is framed in the elective subject "Sound and Habitat" of the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism of the National University of Tucumán aimed at deepening the concepts in the field of Architectural Acoustics. Its purpose is the analysis of the acoustic behavior of certain auditoriums in San Miguel de Tucumán, Capital of the Province. The acoustic conditions are studied in order to then elaborate an overcoming proposal that provides solutions for the correct acoustic adaptation of the enclosure. From the methodological point of view, the participatory action research strategy was implemented, the purpose of the work being to address the importance of Acoustic Conditioning from the beginning of the design process. Significant auditoriums were selected in which the envelope constructive problems and morphological aspects of its designs were analyzed, as well as the analysis of external noise to the premises and the internal treatment characteristics of its materials and location, which allows evaluating objective parameters such as Reverberation time and word intelligibility. In some cases, subjective parameters referring to the user’s perception are evaluated. All these processes correspond to the field of Acoustic Conditioning of auditoriums in which the understanding of the spoken word is fundamental.
