This article proposes a reflection on the Argentine film The Hole in the Wall , written and directed by David Joseph Kohon , released on 3 June 1982. The focus of this reflection, in turn , is on the role of space, its design and conception , in aid of the construction of a complex film discourse . We will work with the following hypothesis , the spaces provided in the film, articulated through a hole in a wall, involve and develop ways of inhabiting that place special emphasis on un-cover the choking atmosphere lived during the dictatorship Argentina 1976- 1983. in this respect, the spatial proposal is not mere decoration or background of the action, but a substantive resource to convey the feelings of oppression , censorship, selfcensorship , abuse, violence , internalized the dictatorial process in Argentine citizens.
