In the present work, we aim to analyze the discursive configuration of the kallawayas, a kind of itinerant doctors primarily in the Andes, in different “Poéticas migrantes” (Campuzano, 2022), from an Andeankallawaya cosmopraxis (De Munter, 2016) linked to ritual and spirituality, to an existence that moves not only through the territory but also among the pacha as temporospatial dimensions. In this instance, we will focus on the testimony of the Bolivian yunga Severino Vila Huanca, collected by Gerardo Fernández Juárez in 1997, and on the novel Chincanqui Kallawaya y agitador by Sixto Vázquez Zuleta, from Jujuy, published in 2006. In this way, we seek to make an initial approach to the kallawaya as a form of trans-Andean, as we understand it to be a chawpi runa, in other words, a person center, a regulating being that is in constant transit between worlds.
