The definition of Peronism is in the middle of debates and struggles to explain its nature. Since its emergence, voices, narratives and stories have desperately tried to define the "true" meaning of their founding event (October 17, 1945), its emblematic leader (Juan Domingo Peron) and the political movement that led Peron to power (Peronism). This paper shows an exploratory analysis of the intellectual and political debates produced between 1955 and 1980, about the nature of Peronism. This corpus of texts has been built from three selection issues which designate -in analogy with musical theory- diverse places of enunciation: 1) subjective narratives: texts produced by enunciators who participated actively in the movement, 2) objective narratives: historical and sociological texts characterized by its claims of scientific truth, 3) polyphonic narratives: texts which are characterized by the inclusion of different voices.
