In this work, we reflect on the role of law in relation to the recognition of earth architecture and construction. To do this, we draw on part of Santos' approach to human rights perspective. Using this conceptual framework, ask ourselves whether local technical and legal regulations contribute to recognition of traditional technologies, their respective knowledge and construction practices, and how they could benefit from a rights-based approach. We analyze the Protierra Argentina Network case, focusing on the process of developing the Ordinance and Technical Attachment of Earth Architecture and Construction (AyCcT) project and its application in three municipal experiences.
