Los «canales de streaming» en Argentina: Continuidades y rupturas en su configuración mediática

Abstract

En este artículo se plantea un recorrido inicial sobre el surgimiento de los canales de streaming en Argentina y sobre sus principales características, para luego avanzar sobre la identificación de sus especificidades semiotecnológicas, en términos de rasgos compartidos con otras plataformas mediáticas previas, dando cuenta de sus posibles reactivaciones y prevalencias. Finalmente, reconoceremos algunos de los rasgos salientes en lo que respecta el ámbito de la recepción de estos medios, reconociendo los nuevos colectivos de identificación que allí se desarrollan.This article offers an initial overview of the emergence of streaming channels in Argentina and their main characteristics, followed by an examination of their semiotechnological specificities in terms of the features they share with earlier media platforms and the ways in which these may be reactivated or persist. Finally, the article identifies several salient aspects regarding the reception of these media, with particular attention to the new identification collectives that emerge in this context.
