This article reflects on the critical situation generated by the Covid-19 pandemic in Rosario. Based on the postulates of urban political ecology, we seek to think the pandemic as a process that blurs the boundaries between the human and the nonhuman, the urban and the natural. Likewise, we are interested in showing the inscription of this crisis in different levels of socio-spatial convergence. We study the processes of reconfiguration of the city's public space derived from the confinement measures, the effects that these processes had on some of the slums and popular settlements, and the city-environment relations evidenced by the fire in the islands and the mobilizations in favor of a Wetlands Law.
