The study proposes that the incorporation of digital writing into Rivera Garza's literary practice, which began with her blog No hay tal lugar (2002–2025), determines the systematic deployment of these transmedia procedures. The rewriting destabilizes the notion of a final version and individual authorship; the expansion dissolves disciplinary and media boundaries; and translation—understood in an expanded sense—operates as a condition of possibility for passages between languages and semiotic systems. The analysis demonstrates that La frontera más distante is part of a transmedia system together with La muerte me da, Las Afueras, and other texts, where characters such as “la Detective” articulate a fictional universe that questions the specificity of artistic fields and proposes “writing-in-translation” as a compositional form that opposes mimetic realism and embraces ambiguity, fragmentation, and permanent textual movement.
