This article is aimed at systematizing a set of reflections arisen on the production and projection of the documentary series called “Land for those who work it, food for the people” as part of a process of knowledge co-production between a research-extension and teaching team from the University of Luján and the Rural Sector of the Movement of Excluded Workers (MTE). The recollection of the audio-visual material, its editing and projection as well as its submission to the MTE triggered questions and debates within the team that were potentiated, in turn, by the impact of the projection. We are interested in explaining our approach to knowledge co-production, in dialogue with critical extension perspective, that frames the documentary series. Moreover, we choose four analysis axes to give an account of the experience. They focused on the objectives that motorise the production of an audio-visual record, the internal and local uses of it, the redefinitions about its audience and the work dynamic in terms of the construction of agreements and the caring for the organizations.
