In this article we study how subjects who train crossfit and practice paleolithic diet (re) build their personal subjectivities sustained in the argument that is necessary to return towards the essence of the human being, that is, return to the natural. Our question, then, was aimed to discover what the natives of the crossfit understand by “natural”. Often judged as trivial, these life experiences have a political dimension that, we believe, it is necessary to emphasize with field research. The article is nourished by an extensive ethnographic work carried out in two crossfit boxes, one located in Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires, the other, in Santiago del Estero. For this reason, this article has also a comparative claim. We draw the comparison in several axes: the space, the coach and the community, the process of learning the corporal techniques of crossfit and the paleolithic diet.
