This article takes as its empirical focus the hegemonic masculinities that are the subject of interpellation in the climate of the so-called fourth-wave feminism, through the investigation of three discursive fields with their respective languages, media, and purposes. On the one hand, the knowledge about gender and masculinities produced in the academic sphere and massified in the fourth-wave feminism through mass media and social networks. On the other, the appropriations of these discursivities in the mainstream film industry, particularly through the film Barbie. Finally, the reappropriations and resignifications of this film expressed in the language of memes, specifically the one known as "Literally Me," which frequently portrays the character of Ken (played by Ryan Gosling) as a questioned and uncomfortable male subject. In this process of cultural circulation, humor in its various forms emerges as a key element for analysis.
