In the last few decades, the Argentine literature field for children has manifested the recognition of poetry as a genre, mainly, due to independent publishing projects that favour the publication of poetic texts associated to transgressive practices and aesthetic innovation criteria. An overflow movement of the literary institution and the reinvention of the poetic expression in view of its dialogue with other arts and technologies have been validated as well. In line with these ideas, we propose the analysis of Aguamundos Sapo by María Cristina Ramos, with illustrations by Virginia Piñón. This is one of the “Visual designs for reading poetry” which is edited by Ruedamares, a publishing company that is run by Ramos herself. The poetic compositions in question are also integrated to La casa del aire. Taller Literario, a theoretical book aimed at teachers and other mediators. We state that the work being studied is the object of a double mediation: an editorial and a pedagogical-didactic one. Thus, we expose this complex operation system stating the traces that it overprints on the poetry for children by M. C. Ramos according to the inscription of connotation across different codes and semantic systems, the articulation of the diversity of materiality, and the consideration, at school levels, of time, space and conditions for fiction reading and creative writing under the workshop methodology.
