We analyze the decorative program of TT318, tomb of Amenmose, dated to the New Kingdom and located in the Theban necropolis, present-day Luxor, through the distribution and quantity of hieroglyphic inscriptions, registers (scenes), sub-registers (sub-scenes) and guards that define decoration, in order to describe them and assess their thematic content for the development of funerary practices and memory worship in ancient Egypt. Almost two millennia later, the walls of this tomb were used as supports for the creation of other plastic expressions, made up of representations of human figures, boats and abstract components that partially overlap the previous decoration. By means of conventions for the segmentation of scenes and sub-scenes, we will show the ways in which the epigraphic record is developed as it is currently observed, while we will evaluate whether subsequent interventions configure new plastic spaces of representation, functioning as marks in appropriation of spaces.
