This article proposes an approach to the study of socialist youths in Argentina, during the first decades of the twentieth century. It takes as object of inquiry a debate regarding models of youth organization, which was upheld respectively by Congressman Augusto Bunge and the Federation of Socialist Youths. In constant dialogue with the contributions of leftist studies, this essay inscribes itself within the field of youth history, from which it aims to critically examine the influence of age, as a socio-cultural construct, in the historical processes that shaped both the party and youth as political actors of the period.
