Resumen
Eunectes notaeus is a South American boid ranging from eastern Bolivia to northeastern Argentina (Santos et al. 2013. Check List 3:660–662). Eunectes notaeus prefers aquatic habitats, where it basks on vegetation and feeds on fish, birds and mammals (Miranda et al. 2017. J. Zoology 301:301–309). It is categorized as least concern (LC) worldwide (Waller et al. 2021. IUCN Red List of Threatened Species 2021:e.T44580058A44580062) but vulnerable in Argentina (Giraudo et al. 2012. Cuad.
