This writing captures a precarious bios situated in the transition from the late 90s crisis to the early 2000s in Argentina, serving as a reflection of the present. It offers alternative visions of the uncertain territories shaped by neoliberalism, exploring the life of an artist, her emotional networks, her relationship with money, and survival. This writing acts as a suture, a basting stitch that evolves through personal experience and historical context, defying boundaries. In a landscape fragmented by neoliberal forces, Bléfari’s work reconstructs the wounded territories of a world that was collecting remnants and weaving new images of a present on the brink of collapse, revealing forms of resistance and public imagination.
