From the biopolitical interrogation of the school present, we present results of a research carried out from the ethnographic approach in secondary schools located in neighborhoods in a context of urban poverty in the Metropolitan Region of Buenos Aires. We try to describe the modulations that the teaching task acquires between the managerial logics that characterize our societies, and the precariousness/precarity that goes over urban/school life. In the notion of all-terrain-teachers, it condensates the meaning of becoming a professor, and the multiple conditions between precariousness and the teaching task, finding us with a present that continues to deepen both urban and school inequality.
