Traditionally San Juan is a grape and vine producing province. The most of the lower middle class wine growers have lived in a situation of poverty and constant plundering. This presentation aspires to describe this situation focusing in the traditional winegrowers which have no integration. It examines their most important characteristics, the strategy which they deploy to subsist as social group and the cost and profitability that they face in their activity. They are partners subsumed to the capital that works with the market, the prices, the financing and the contracts to keep this dependent relation and give more value to its capital. The consequence of it is the subordination and decapitalisation of these social and economical partners which present difficulties to integrate the important economic chains and even they can´t become in more value chains. They are margined and they can´t accede to material or symbolic resources and the only change that they have is the subsistence.
