This paper starts by assuming that exists in today's Argentina processes of asymmetry in the field of mental health, called into question by recent legislation (Law 26,657) and practices, with a distinct bias, are making possibilities. Considering that there are actions under specific institutions that raise their work from a democratizing exercise of knowledge and power, it is recognized that they also produce their effects. From the perspective of classical authors of philosophy, I propose a reading of two concurrent conditions: asymmetry and its effects, and the trend towards institutionalizing democratic practices and their effects. conclude by presenting the idea to create the conditions for reverse processes asymmetry is an indeterminate process, which is relevant document, analyze and communicate the effects of the practices and institutions is both a reflection and analysis of practice allowing go on sustaining change processes.
