This article is part of a study of networks of festive sociability among young people during the eighties in Cordoba, built around a circuit of bars and night clubs of youthful fun where there was not a manifest rejection towards non-heterosexual erotic. In this article in particular, we focus on the practices carried out in one of those spaces, that was called by those years Piaf Club, recognized in mainstream narrative as the first gay night club of the city. We inquire into ways of festive sociability that were possible in this night club, and that allowed some individuals to feel free and be calm. At the same time, we analyze some processes of social differentiation, which have been crossed by a set of variables such as class / race, gender and eroticism. To develop this work, we conducted a series of interviews, biographically focused, to men self-ascribed as homosexuals, who frequented this discotheque.
