The construction and conceptual delimitation of both youth and sexuality produced by the West have been articulated around the primacy of medical discourses and knowledge, therefore, this article proposes the realization of an analysis focused on showing how medical discourses, understood as techniques of knowledge-power, operate, in three different dimensions, first in the production of youth subjects, then in the construction of a sexuality device that prescribes a legitimized normality, and finally, to put into play how the intersection between the knowledge legitimized by medical science and the sexual management of youth is produced. As a result of this intersection, three main concepts emerge: risk, prevention and responsibility, which direct and organize the sexuality of young people and determine the ways of experiencing it.
