During the last two decades, there has been an explosion of studies on inequality. Despite being one of the areas of greater relative development within the social sciences, we cannot fail to point out that this academic productivity has not permeated the curricula of the middle level and the university system. Starting from this diagnosis, the objective of this essay is to reflect on the need to share what is produced in the scientific field inside the classrooms and that, from these classroom experiences, the production of knowledge about the complex stories that shape inequality can be enriched. Generating connections between both spheres would not only enable the scaffolding of teachinglearning processes on a highly contemporary issue, but would also allow the construction of a participatory, multidimensional knowledge with an unquestionable territorial anchor.
