La movilidad y la estratificación socio-ocupacional en la Argentina: algo más que un sistema en aparente equilibrio

Abstract

El presente trabajo intenta dar una imagen actualizada del fenómeno de la movilidad intergeneracional y la estratificación social para el área urbana Argentina, haciendo una especial referencia a los análisis por estratos. Aprovechando la rica tradición académica que posee la Argentina en esta disciplina se intenta una ampliación de la marca dejada por Germani junto con los aportes de la vasta bibliografía internacional, especialmente la referente a América Latina. El trabajo se basa en tres muestras nacionales integradas pertenecientes a los años 2007, 2008 y 2009 realizadas por el Observatorio de la Deuda Social Argentina (UCA).This paper tries to give an updated picture of the phenomenon of intergenerational mobility and social stratification for urban Argentina, with special reference to the analysis by strata. Taking advantage of the rich academic tradition that has Argentina in this discipline attempt an extension of the mark taken by Germani together with the contributions of the vast international literature, especially concerning America Latina. The work is based on three integrated national samples belonging to the years 2007, 2008 and 2009 conducted by the Observatory of the Argentina Social Debt (UCA).
