The commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the reform of the National Constitution offers us the opportunity to recover past narratives and explore the links between memory, politics, and history. From a socio-historical perspective, this article examines one of the forms of citizen participation that activated the 1994 national constituent process. Specifically, we recover the demands and messages sent to the Constitutional Convention Delegates of La Pampa. We argue that notes and messages provided a means for diverse social groups to express their views and participate in the reform process, seeing it as a chance to strengthen democracy.
