La Legitimidad como autoría

Abstract

El presente trabajo persigue dos objetivos. En primer lugar, pretende llamar la atención sobre cuatro problemas o desafíos que cualquier concepción de la legitimidad debe enfrentar con éxito si pretende ser adecuada. En segundo lugar, presenta y defiende una concepción específica de la legitimidad entendida como autoría o atributabilidad de las instituciones políticas y las decisiones adoptadas en su seno a los individuos a quienes dichas instituciones se aplican. El carácter no-correlativista y asociativista de esta concepción le permite sortear con éxito los cuatro desafíos.The present work pursues two objectives. First, it seeks to draw attention to four problems or challenges that any conception of legitimacy must successfully face if it is to be adequate. Second, it presents and defends a specific conception of legitimacy understood as authorship or attributability of political institutions and the decisions made within them to the individuals to whom these institutions apply. The non-correlativist and associativist nature of this conception allows it to successfully overcome the four challenges.
