The threat of climate change, the increasing price of energy and the technology development for clean energy use lead to elaborate alternative concepts that lead to the change of conciousness towards a more efficient and sustainable architecture. This project aims to obtain energy and comfort indicators to establish lines of comparison and to define criteria of reference between the buildings under study within the regional environment. As methodology, we propose an “in situ” survey of a transverse and longitudinal type which consists of measuring climate conditions, surveys to the users ́ workspaces, analysis of energy consumption and the installation of a system for continuous monitoring during the post-occupancy phase of the building. In buildings which meet efficiency criteria, it is possible to reduce 50% of energy expenditure and 10% to 20% extra if performance is monitored during life span.
