Specialized literature relatively scarcely has addressed the impact that the management of the last civic-military dictatorship in Argentina (1976-1983) had on the performance of public companies and organizations, and especially the implications it had on their workers. In this regard, the main objective is to analyze the concrete implementation of the employment policy of such management in three case studies: Ferrocarriles Argentinos, Gas del Estado and ENTEL, focusing particularly on the drastic reduction of staing levels and the efects of that loss of employees on productivity levels. hus, it seeks to account, from unexplored information sources, for the functionality that this labor policy had in relation to the refoundational purposes of the last civic-military dictatorship, particularly the class revenge that was undertaken against the working class.
