In 2006, the publisher El Manual Moderno translated, validated, and standardized the scale for the Mexican population, and it is also used by other Spanish-speaking countries. In 2020, the scale was applied to 603 adults (students, teachers and administrative staff of the Carchi State Polytechnic University), its psychometric properties have been evaluated through internal consistency analysis, confirmatory factor analysis and evidence in favor of validity. in all its subscales. The results indicate that this scale is an adequate and valid measure for the evaluation of anxiety in Ecuadorian adults.
