Resumen
Supplementary dataset containing the virulence factors identified in the genome of Serratia odorifera strain INTA L401-1, a bacterium isolated from the interaction between the entomopathogenic nematode Heterorhabditis bacteriophora and its insect host Tenebrio molitor. The search for nematicidal bacteria has emerged as a promising strategy for the development of environmentally friendly alternatives to the conventional chemical control of plant-parasitic nematodes. In this context, the dataset includes predicted genes potentially associated with pathogenicity and nematicidal activity against both model and plant-parasitic nematodes, providing insights into the molecular mechanisms that may contribute to its biocontrol potential. Additionally, the table reports sequence similarity analyses obtained through BLAST searches against the NCBI database, including the closest matches to previously characterized genes and proteins associated with nematode antagonism.
